Anarkali

Anarkali (Hindi: अनारकली, Urdu: اناركلی) is a 1953 film based on the historical legend of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. As per the legend Jahangir revolted against his father Akbar over his love for a common girl called Anarkali. Sadhu Aur Shaitan

Directed By : Bhim Singh Starring : Bharti, Mehmood, Pran. Synopsis : Kind-hearted yet naive Bajrang (Mehmood) drives a taxi (laila) and helps anyone he can. He is devoted to another kind-hearted gentleman and long-time bank employee by the name of Sadhuram (Om Prakash). Bajrang is attracted to a school-teacher, Vidya (Bharathi), whose brother is an artiste, Dina Nath (Kishore Kumar). One day a man claiming to be a child-hood friend of Sadhuram, named Sher Khan (Pran), enters their lives. His motive is to rob the bank where Sadhuram is employed and blame Sadhuram for this. He manipulates Sadhuram into accepting him, and moves in with him. He borrows a large sum of money from Sadhuram, and also manages to duplicate the bank's safe's key, and steals the money. The Bank Manager (Nasir Hussain) notifies the police of the robbery and Sadhuram becomes the prime suspect. In panic Sadhuram, who comes into possession of the money that Sher Khan has stolen, flees with the police on his tail. Sher Khan (alias dacoit Dilawar Khan) gets killed and his dead body ends up in the back seat of Bajrang's taxi, and Bajrang too is on the run.

Raampur Ka Lakshman

Kedarnath Bhargav, his wife, Laxmi, and two sons, Ram and Lakshman, are homeless. While traveling, their train derails, and the family is separated into three groups. Laxmi works as a maidservant in the house of Bombay's mayor and his daughter, Rekha. Ram is abducted by a career criminal. Kedarnath and Lakshman are together. Paigham is a 1959 Hindi movie produced and directed by S S Vassan. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Vyjayanthimala, Raaj Kumar, Saroja Devi, Motilal and Johnny Walker. The films music is by C. Ramachandra. This was the first time Dilip and Raaj Kumar appeared in a film together. They later appeared together once again over three decades later for the 1991 film Saudagar. Nadiya Ke Paar

Nadiya Ke Paar (Hindi: नादिया के पार) is a 1982 Bhojpuri-Hindi film directed by Govind Moonis starring Sachin, Sadhana Singh, Inder Thakur, Mitali, Savita Bajaj, Sheela David, Leela Mishra and Soni Rathod.[1]
The film ran houseful for years in a movie theatre in Allahabad[citation needed]. The movie was later remade by Rajshri Productions as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! in 1994.
Inder Thakur, who played the role of Omkar, was on the passenger list of Air India Flight 182. He will always be remembered for his role in the film. Purnima (1965) a love story Synopsis: Orphaned Purnima lives a poor lifestyle with her maternal uncle and cruel aunt. She is in love with Prakash and both plan to marry soon. when she goes to meet Prakash at his place of employment to seek a donation, she meets with Vasant, the son of the owner of Ratan Lal & Co., who takes an instant liking to her. Kashmir Ki Kali


Wealthy and pampered Rajiv Lal is the only son of widowed Rani Maa. She would like him to get married and starts receiving proposals from all over the country. She meets with and interviews prospective brides, and picks one for him, only to have him reject her. To escape her wrath, he runs off to their bungalow in Kashmir with his friend, Chander. Upon arrival, he finds that his estate manager, Bholaram, has made a hotel out of their bungalow and has even rented out some rooms for the season. He confronts the manager, and both compromise. He meets Champa, who sells flowers for a living, and they fall in love. They plan to marry but, surprisingly, Champa's dad, Dinu, is opposed to this marriage. To complicate matters even more, Rajiv finds out that he is not the son of Rani Maa, and he goes about to find his real identity. The household is run by a tyrannical old mother Shanta (Lalita Pawar). Her husband is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their elder daughter-in-law, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar) married to a very devoted, loving woman. Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha Gupta (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter, who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Raja Aur Runk

Raja Aur Runk is the story of a prince and a pauper. Two children, born on the same day at the same time - one to the king, Raja Sahib and one to the poor man Hariya (Ajit). The king is thrilled at the birth of Yuvraj, the heir to the throne while Hariya is cynical about the birth of his son, Raja.Both the children grow up looking identical, but there is a constant contrast in their lives and upbringing. Chaudhvin Ka Chand
